JMM Investments, a Real Estate/Multifamily investment firm with offices in the Greater New Orleans area, offers developers and commercial real estate owners’ debt, equity, and development strategy services with an emphasis on multifamily properties located in the Gulf South.The President/Owner, Mark Madderra, and Vice President/CFO, Jeff Madderra, are seasoned veterans in the multifamily development and investment business, having a combined experience of over 50 years with an investment portfolio of approximately sixteen properties and over 2,500 multifamily units.We also operate a commercial mortgage banking firm doing business as Madderra & Cazalot LLC. Madderra & Cazalot offers developers and commercial real estate owners mortgage banking services with a specific emphasis on multifamily properties located in the Gulf South. Established in 1992, this firm represents multiple lenders and has placed in excess of $5 Billion in mortgage debt along with revolving acquisition credit facilities, mezzanine loans, and equity placement.

Mark Madderra is a real estate investment banker with extensive experience in multifamily ownership and loan placement. He started J.M. Madderra & Company, Inc as a Louisiana-based Mortgage Banking firm in 1993. Combining talents with Ron Cazalot in 2000, the Madderra & Cazalot mortgage banking firm was formed. Over its two decades in operation, its principles generated over $5 billion of income-producing loans.In 2001 Mark started JMM Investments, LLC to expand his focus on ownership of multifamily properties. It is active in many aspects of multifamily, including ownership, management, acquisition, development, and equity placement.Mark continues to be involved in many Louisiana professional organizations focused on business and real estate. Jeff Madderra

With over a decade of experience in the multifamily industry, Jeff Madderra has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to offer. Starting out in property maintenance and management, he quickly rose through the ranks and has held positions at every level, from ownership oversight to his current role as Chief Financial Officer.After graduating from LSU, Jeff entered the industry with HRI Properties in 2013. There he was responsible for implementing the End to Veterans Homelessness Initiative in New Orleans.He eventually joined JMM Investments as an Asset Manager in 2016. In that role he was responsible for budget preparation and evaluation, onsite inspection of current and potential assets, and analysis of desired markets for potential assets. In 2021, his duties at the company expanded to include the position of Chief Financial Officer.In addition to his professional career, Jeff serves as an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves and has over a decade of military service, including a combat deployment. As a Civil Affairs Officer, he specializes in understanding and engaging the local populace and in providing expertise in civil considerations.
